The Tilda dress can be sewn in any warp and weft fabric and in jersey knit. We recommend: cotton, viscose, tencel, silk and fine woollens.
Our Tilda dresses were sewn in cotton and orange tencel.
For a fabric in 1m35 / 53.1" width, amounts of fabric are:
> short sleeves
. 2m60 (102.36") for a size 34/36
. 2m65 (104,33") for a size 38/40/42/44
> long sleeves
. 2m85 (112.2") for a size 34/36/38/40/42/44
For a fabric in 1m50 / 59.1" width, amounts of fabric are:
> short sleeves
. 2m60 (102.36") for a size 34/36
. 2m65 (104,33") for a size 38/40/42/44/46/48
. 2m70 (106.3") for a size 50/52
> long sleeves
. 2m85 (112,2") for a size 34/36/38/40
. 2m90 (114,2") for a size 42/44/46/48
. 3m (118,11") for a size 50/52
Pieces are cut flush with each other. Add an extra 10 to 20cm (3.9" to 7.9") if needed.
You will also need:
- matching or contrasting thread,
- a serger (optional).
PDF patterns
The Tilda dress pattern is a PDF pattern. An email with a link to download the .zip file will be sent to your mailbox right after the payment for the order is complete.
The .zip folder contains:
- the PDF sewing pattern in A4/letter format,
- the PDF sewing pattern in plotter format,
- and the assembly instructions with all the necessary information in French and English.
