Ellie is a high waist wrap skirt with a slightly flared cut and ties to be knotted on the side. It includes a belt and front and back darts.
It’s available in two lengths: mini and mid-length.
Two types of pockets can be sewn on one of the sides of the skirt: a patch buttoned pocket and a gusset pocket.
This pattern is appropriate for beginner sewers. All seam allowances and hem amounts are included.
This Ellie skirt in wine-red vegan leather has been lengthened by around twenty centimeters compared to the mid-lenght version.
You can pick any sort of woven fabric: cotton, viscose, silk, cotton denim, leather, woollens...
The short versions of the Ellie skirt were made with a French silk noil and crinkled linen.

Remove 5 to 10cm (1.97" to 3.94") if you're sewing the skirt without pocket.
Pieces are cut flush with each other. Add an extra 10 to 20cm (3.9" to 7.9") if needed.
You will also need:
- matching thread,
- interfacing,
- 1 button of 18mm / 0.71" diameter (or 19mm; optional),
- a serger (optional).
