The Tilly pants are worn high on the waist with a hidden closure on the front. The legs are curved with large stitched hems. The details also include two inseam pockets, two back patch pockets and five belt loops.
This pattern is appropriate for advanced sewers. All seam allowances and hem amounts are included. You will also find a photographic tutorial as a supplement to the booklet.
We recommend soft and dense fabrics, with a minimum weight of 360g/m². Thick woolens, denim and linen will work perfectly. The fabric density here is essential as it has an impact on how the pants fall by slightly curving the legs.
Avoid thin fabrics.
Our Tilly pants were made with a black and off-white check wool and 100% cotton denim.
For a fabric in 135cm / 53.1" width, minimum amounts of fabric are:
. 1m45 (57.1") for a size 34/36
. 1m50 (59.1") for a size 38/40
. 1m95 (76.78") for a size 42/44
. 2m15 (84.65") for a size 46
For a fabric in 150cm / 59.1" width, minimum amounts of fabric are:
. 1m20 (47.25") for a size 34/36
. 1m35 (56.15") for a size 38/40
. 1m55 (61.02") for a size 42/44/46
Pieces are cut flush with each other. Add an extra 10 to 20cm (3.9" to 7.9") if needed.

- interfacing,
- a 22cm / 8.66” zipper,
- bias (optional).
